About Moonsift:
Moonsift is a Consumer AI (B2C) startup reimagining the shopping experience for style-conscious consumers.
Moonsift’s existing product is already used by 100,000+ people globally having grown over 1,000% in the last 2 years. Moonsift’s first product is often referred to as ‘like Pinterest but for shopping’ or ‘One wishlist for all stores’. It combines deep tech with aesthetic design to make it easy for people to curate, organise, and share their shopping finds.
Leading investors in London and San Francisco are now backing the company to redefine the shopping journey with AI. After 2 years of R&D, Moonsift plans to launch and iterate a product that will revolutionise how people discover fashion and homeware in 2025.
We are a small, remote-first, non-hierarchical, highly talented product company that puts the user at the centre of everything. Top minds in machine learning and data science have spent the last 2 years developing the underlying intelligence. Now we want you to lead the product’s design.
The Role:
We’re looking for a UX/UI or Product Designer who is passionate about creating world-class, user-centred designs that blend aesthetics with functionality. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design of a completely new consumer AI product and reshape the UX, UI and branding of Moonsift’s existing platform to take it to the next level - ready to scale to 1m users.
You’ll own every stage of the design process, collaborating closely with the founders and product team. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to build innovative products that will change the way millions of people shop online.
You will be the only full-time designer at the company.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead all facets of design of Moonsift’s new consumer AI product for style-conscious shoppers as well as the existing platform (‘one wishlist for all stores’).
- Be the voice of the user and driver of product strategy, working directly with the CEO and CTO to ensure design decisions align with what users care most about.
- Define user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs that provide a seamless and delightful user experience.
- Champion user-centred design: user research, user testing, and feedback analysis to continuously improve the UX and come up with innovative solutions.
- Re-imagine the brand and visual identity: Play a key role in turning Moonsift’s low-fi MVP branding into one our style-conscious audience feel a deep connection with and reflects the innovative product we’re building.
- Create a cohesive visual design language across our iOS, Android, web app, and browser extension, ensuring a consistent and premium experience for users.
- Collaborate closely with our software and machine learning engineers to ensure designs are implemented effectively, and iterated based on real-world feedback.
- Own the evolution of our design system, establishing best practices, patterns, and reusable components.
- Know the landscape. Research user experiences and visual designs that we can learn from in our space and adjacent spaces (e.g. consumer, AI, fashion).
